Als Sänger ist er bei den Rockopern AVANTASIA und GENIUS zu hören sowie als Studio-Support für Größen wie HELLOWEEN, HAMMERFALL oder RHAPSODY. Nach europaweiten Live-Shows, u. a. als Support der Rocklegende TOTO ist Hartmann begehrt, wie z. B. als Gitarrist für JOANA ZIMMER und das PINK FLOYD-Tribute-Projekt ECHOES.
Der Titel "Out in the Cold" wird in der internationalen Fachpresse mehrfach zum "Album des Monats" gekürt. Im bekannten australischen Webzine MELODICROCK werden die Single-Auskoppelungen "What if I" und "Into the light" zu Songs des Jahres 2005 gewählt.
